Introspection
Introspection marks a pivotal return to self. A moment of stepping away from the noise, expectations, and emotional weight of the outside world. Created during a period of intentional withdrawal, the work reflects the need to protect one’s energy and confront what had long been set aside.

Purpose Statement:
In the absence of distraction, everything that had been buried surfaced. Unprocessed wounds, unanswered questions, and the quiet demand for healing. What began as rest became a turning point. A crossing. A choice to face inward rather than continue carrying what was never meant to be held indefinitely.
What emerged was not perfection, but a grounded peace. One rooted in self-awareness, patience, and care. This piece holds that realization: that rest is not avoidance, but necessary work. That stillness can be transformative.
It offers permission to pause without guilt, to honor your limits, and to trust that the world continues turning while you gather yourself. Because sometimes, the most powerful step forward is allowing yourself to stop.
