Muladhara
Created in the after of a long devotion, this piece honors a love that reshaped the ground beneath me. My dog Hara lived with IVDD paralysis, and in loving him, I stepped into a devotion I never planned but now carry as part of who I am.
Introspection
Introspection is a quiet act of reclamation. A return to self after stepping away from the noise, expectations, and emotional weight of the outside world. Created during a period of intentional withdrawal, the work reflects a need to protect one’s energy and make space for mental and emotional restoration.
I Broke What Broke Her
An intimate reflection on healing the mother wound and reclaiming self trust. Through this piece, I explore the coexistence of softness and strength, and what it means to move forward without abandoning what has been lived. This work is part of a larger body of practice centered on transformation, emotional inheritance, and generational healing.
Innocence Interrupted
Through familiar imagery and childlike visual language, this work contrasts early ideas of identity, belonging, and national narrative with the lived realities of power, enforcement, and resistance. Examining the tension between innocence and the systems we are raised within.
